RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT anticipates the need for a secondary Math Teacher (grades 9-12) at Rondout Valley High School.
Qualifications: NYSED Teacher Certification, Mathematics 7-12, SED fingerprint clearance.
- Thorough knowledge of the NYS Next Generation Mathematics learning standards.
- Creates and maintains an inclusive learning environment that promotes and engages diverse learning styles and abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of social emotional learning approaches and experience in implementing SEL to cultivate a classroom that is affirming and welcoming.
- Conducts an ongoing assessment of student learning and modifies instruction to suit individual student’s needs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Reflective practitioner
- Values collaboration and has a sense of humor.
- High school experience preferred.
Salary: Per Contract
Work Schedule: September - June, Monday-Friday, 7:25am-2:35pm
Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the direct report and/or Superintendent.
