RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Physical Education Teacher at the RV High School.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a culturally responsive understanding in the planning and execution of lessons to ensure a positive learning environment that is safe and accessible to all students. Also,
- Employs various instructional strategies to engage students with various learning styles, needs and abilities.
- Possesses the ability to get all students excited and curious about exercising and is always seeking new ways to teach students healthy routines and practices that support physical growth.
- Deeply understands the connection between physical, emotional, and academic health and integrates social-emotional strategies regularly.
- Is a skillful communicator that is collaborative and a team player.
- Has a willingness to coach extracurricular sports.
- High School experience preferred.
Qualifications: NYS Certification, Physical Education & SED Fingerprint Clearance.
Salary: Per Contract
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:25am- 2:35pm
Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the direct report and/or Superintendent.
