Softball Coaching Positions — 2025/2026 Spring Season
Rondout Valley Central School District is seeking qualified candidates for the following softball coaching positions:

Duties:
Overall development, supervision, and promotion of the softball program. (Coach’s Responsibilities Manual available from the Athletic Office.) Coaches are expected to uphold and reinforce the Rondout Valley Athletic Code of Conduct.
Qualifications:

Valid NYS certificate to teach physical education OR a valid NYS teaching certificate in another area, OR a valid Temporary Coaching License issued through the NYSED TEACH system.

Current and valid CPR and First Aid certifications.

Fingerprint clearance through NYSED.
Note: Coaching is a yearly appointment. All coaches must reapply each year to be considered for a position.
Salary: Per contract.

Although a “Coach Application” may appear in the system, this is not the correct form for external returning coaches. The High School Student/Volunteer Application is the required and most efficient option.
