RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT anticipates the need for an Elementary Teacher Leave Replacement (grade 2) at Marbletown Elementary School beginning in mid-February 2026 - June 30.
The ideal candidate would have experience working with elementary students. More importantly, candidates should be collaborative, flexible, innovative, have a good sense of humor, and be willing to have a lot of fun.
Marbletown Elementary School (MES) is located in Ulster County near Kingston and New Paltz. The school encompasses grades K - 3 and has a total enrollment of approximately 285 students. Our staff takes pride in the warm, nurturing environment we create for students. We place a heavy emphasis on success skills (a.k.a. social emotional learning), utilizing programs including restorative practices, PBIS, and mindfulness. At the same time, we seek to develop engaging standards-based lessons to ensure the academic growth of our students. Success at Marbletown can be attributed to our fantastic staff who have a positive mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Salary: Per Contract
Work Schedule: Mid-Feb - June 30, 2026 Monday–Friday, 8:30am - 3:40pm
Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the direct report and/or Superintendent.
