RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT anticipates the need for two (2) Elementary Teacher Leave Replacement positions for the 2026-2027 school year:
- One (1) position at Marbletown Elementary School (Grades K-3)
- One (1) position at Rondout Valley Middle School (Grades 4-6)
Specific grade-level assignments will be discussed during the interview process.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with elementary students and a passion for building meaningful relationships with children and families. Candidates should be collaborative, flexible, creative, and student-centered educators who bring positivity, professionalism, and a sense of joy to their work while contributing to a strong school community.
Qualifications:
- New York State Certification, Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) and/or Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2)
- SED Fingerprint Clearance
Salary: Per Contract
Work Schedule: 9/1/2026–6/30/2027, Monday-Friday, per building schedule
Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Building Principal and/or Superintendent.
