  • Varsity Head Coach
  • Varsity Assistant
  • Junior Varsity
  • Modified
  • There are two volunteer positions allocated for boys’ basketball.  Interested parties should apply to the posting called 2026/2027 Assistant Coach (Unpaid/Volunteer)

**Applicants must indicate the specific coaching position(s) they are applying for in the Internal Comments section of the application to ensure proper consideration**

 Duties: Overall development, supervision and promotion of the program.  (Coach's Responsibilities Manual available from the Athletic Office) Uphold and reinforce the Rondout Valley Athletic Code of Conduct.  
 
Qualifications: Must have a valid NYS certificate to teach physical education OR a valid NYS teaching certificate in an area other than physical education OR a valid Temporary Coaching License by applying online through the NYSED TEACH system.  Must have current and valid CPR, First Aid and fingerprint clearance through NYS Education.

Coaching is a yearly appointment, so ALL coaches must apply each year in order to be considered for each coaching position.
