Duties: Overall development, supervision and promotion of the program.  (Coach's Responsibilities Manual available from the Athletic Office) Uphold and reinforce Rondout Valley Athletic Code of Conduct.  
 
Qualifications: Must have a valid NYS certificate to teach physical education OR a valid NYS teaching certificate in an area other than physical education OR a valid Temporary Coaching License by applying online through the NYSED TEACH system.  Must have current and valid CPR, First Aid, and fingerprint clearance through NYS Education. In accordance with New York Social Services Law 413(5), as of April 1, 2025, all paid coaches must complete the updated Mandated Reporter Training.  

Coaching is a yearly appointment, so ALL coaches must apply each year in order to be considered for each coaching position.

RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Baseball, Varsity Assistant Coach, for the 2024/2025 Spring season. This posting will remain open until the position is filled.  
 
Duties: Overall development, supervision and promotion of the program.  (Coach's Responsibilities Manual available from the Athletic Office) Uphold and reinforce Rondout Valley Athletic Code of Conduct.  
 
Qualifications: Must have a valid NYS certificate to teach physical education OR a valid NYS teaching certificate in an area other than physical education OR a valid Temporary Coaching License by applying online through the NYSED TEACH system.  Must have current and valid CPR, First Aid and fingerprint clearance through NYS Education.

Coaching is a yearly appointment, so ALL coaches must apply each year in order to be considered for each coaching position.
