| School Monitors | | RONDOUT VALLEY CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking multiple district-wide SCHOOL MONITORS for the 26/27 school year.
Qualifications: An ideal candidate for the School Monitor position will demonstrate a sense of responsibility and reliability; they should take their duties seriously, with a patient and friendly approach. A School Monitor should be a good communicator, and a respectful, punctual and positive role model. General Responsibilities: Assists in supervising recreation, lunch periods, study halls, etc. as per district needs. This is a 10-month position, from the first day of school through the last day of school.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, when school is in session. This position requires a commitment of 3 consecutive hours per day. Specific shift times will be scheduled in alignment with the operational needs of the school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality education to students with possible physical, cognitive, and/or emotional disabilities in a secondary school setting. The candidate will work closely with students, parents, and other education professionals to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance/progress, attendance, and behavior
- Developing, modifying, and updating IEPs
- Communicate regularly with parents, administrators, and other education professionals regarding student progress and needs
